Launchcloud Awarded Place on G-Cloud 9 Framework

We are delighted to announce that Launchcloud been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 9 framework agreement.

The UK Government G-Cloud is an initiative aimed at simplifying the procurement by public-sector bodies in departments of the United Kingdom Government of information technology services that use cloud computing. Because the government recognizes Launchcloud as a premium product, it has recently been awarded a place on G-Cloud under lot 2, Cloud Software.

Why G-Cloud?

Cloud computing caused a momentous change in the way information systems can be delivered. As a result, the UK Government’s digital marketplace initiated the G-Cloud program of work to deliver computing based capability (from fundamental resources such as storage and processing to full-fledged applications) using cloud computing.

Public Sector organizations can call off the services listed on the Digital Marketplace without needing to go through a full tender process. Now Launchcloud is on this list, as a public sector organization, you can easily view exactly how Launchcloud compares with other cloud and data collection software without the need for lengthy and complex procurement procedures.

Launchcloud has now launched on G-cloud and more information is available through G-Cloud/Launchcloud
